Here's a bit of a continuation of yesterday's journal:
Left the house at 9:10PM and had to get some gasoline since like... I needed some. I went to AmPm and like, used my debit card since it was much faster. I pumped some gasoline into the tank and then wanted to clean the windshiled, only to realize that there wasn't any water in the squeeze tank thing. WTF!? They both were dry and so I had to empty out an Aquafina bottle into the tank just to clean it! Oh yeah, no paper towels either. Wtf? But anyway, I added too muhc gasoline and so I ended up putting in $33.14 into it. When I pulled out the nozzle, I spilled some gasoline on the floor. Wow, what a waste of a whole quarter. I left and drove on the 405 freeway northbound until I reached LAX using 105W.
At LAX, I was at the Arrivals level (the bottom level) and like... was looking for Terminal 6 parking, taking the long way instead of cutting through the center like any genius would do. I kept making last-second lane switches to avoid parking in the wrong parking lot... but yeah, I eventually made it into parking lot 6. After taking my parking ticket, I was fortunate enough to find a spot right near the entrance. Excellent! I parked in and helped the lady next to me, helping her see if it's safe for her to back up without hitting me or anyone else. Heh heh. But yeah, I took photos of my ticket and then a different lady parked next to me. I asked if we bring our parking ticket with us and she said that we could, but she just leaves it in the car because if you lose it, you pay the maximum price for parking--30 bucks. She said it happened to her before so yeah. She knows. HAHAHA! Anyway, I went to Terminal 6 and found the monitors that tell me what flights have arrivied. I arrived at the parking lot at 10:23PM and like, Dominick's flight won't be arriving until 10:45PM, like what i said in my last entry.
I sat outside and sketches the airport a bit. Yeah, I thougt I'd be waiting longer but nah. I ended up sketching only 2 scenes and they weren't all that good. I draw fast... which probably meant I'll never be an illustrator. Anyway, I checked the time and the monitors multiple times and even watched some people coming down the esculator hoping Dominick would come down early for some reason. I decided to put my sketchbook back into my dad's SUV and when I came back at 10:59PM, the monitor said that Dominick's flight arrived! Yay! So I waited for him to come down and like... he did, but didn't see me. He was walking away, toward the baggage courasel(sp?). Wtf? I followed him for a bit and then eventualyl said "turn around." He got his 1 thing of luggage and I lead him to my dad's SUV. He put his bag in the back and then took out his laptop. Heh, he's got an HP laptop like mine... but was smaller. He also left the plastic cover on like me! HAHAHAHA! I thought I was the only moron who does stuff like that.
I learned he was gonna play iTunes on his laptop. That pissed me off! Why? You knwo how I don't like it when people touch my radio? Well... he's gonna play music without my permission and that was bullcrap. I was pissed and he then asked for my permissino and I granted it, despite how annoyed I was. He was tryign to make the music play with the laptop is closed. He failed and I told him that it was going in sleepmode. He gave up and yeah. I paid 3 bucks for parking at the exit and then followed the signs toward the 405 freeway... only to get lost. Yeah, my fault for not just following my directions in reverse. I ended up talking to Dominick, asking about his flight and whatnot. He didn't get much sleep last night (slept til 1AM EST while I ended the phone conversation at 12:47AM EST--he's totally exaggerating) and that he only saw Phoebe for like, 5 minutes. Bummer. We had some small talk and I got so lost that I re-entered the airport. Heh, great. I told Dominick how it's been 6 years since I've been to LAX and that it brought back some grade 10 memories (you know... the bad ones).
I found the shortcut out of the airport! HAHAHA! No one was using it and so I got to cruise in right through. I let Dominick mess around with my radio and I found 105E and took that. I flipped some jerk on the road who sped up while I was trying to change lanes and got onto the 405S. We cruised on home and spoke a little bit. You know, small talk. I parked in front of his house at 12:31AM and helped him with his baggage (by opening the door; he didn't want me to). I told him that, even though he hated being home, I was really happy he was here. He was like, my only guy friend left after all. He'll gonna call me tomorrow at around 2PM... so yeah. I left for home, arrived at 12:45AM, took my shower, and went to bed.
My dream last night was about me working at Wal*Mart with Jackie Z and she was putting things to where they belong while I goofed around. I was in a wheelchair and like... didn't know how to go. I then figured out that I needed to use the wheels to move. DURRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I then crashed into a wall. That's all Ican recall. There was much more to it.. but I forgot. I woke up at 8:50AM and like, surfed online for a bit. I replied to Tiff's note about gift delivery and at around 12PM, I went downstairs and made myself 2 PB&J sandwiches and a bowl of this multibran Flaxseed(?) cereal. I don't remember if it was flaxseed, but I'm pretty sure it was because it was like the cereal I bought last time except without the strawberries. It was actually pretty good without any sugar in it. Hmm. But yeah, I ate all that while watching the Season 3 finale of The Sopranos on On Demand. After that, I went upstairs and Dominick called me at around 1:30PM to tell me we were still on for today. Excellent.
I quickly took a shot for my Chia Pet hair project and was running late. I picked up Dominick at 2:38PM (when I was suppose to pick him up at 2:30PM). I apologized and he told me what he wanted to do. He wanted me to go down the Ortega freeway (highway? parkway?) and explore a bit. He told me that Skyler form McDonalds was probably not working today. Heh, I wanted him to introduce me because he looked like Dominick from grade 11. Dominick wanted to see the movie at the end of the day, so yeah. Uh... okay. We stopped by Ralphs so that he could pick up his paycheck and pay back the money he owed his mom. After that, we eventually found Ortega and like, drove down it. It actually got me dizzy by the end at Lake Elsinore. Hmm. But yeah, the trip brought memories of last semester and how he wanted to bring Jay and Kelly along for the ride. We saw the AmPm that we went to last year... and Dominick wanted something at Jack In The Box. I told him I probably wouldn't get anything because like... I was dizzy and fast food kinda has a weird effect on me (like the P-Zone from Pizza Hut).
So like, there were no U-turns for like... ever and so I continued down the street instead. We eventually hit a cul-de-sac next to a recycling center and then Dominick wanted to go to the Target near there. The sign we saw was for the freeway and so we assumed it was on the same side as the sign. I was already in the left turn lane when Dominick noticed it was to our right. Wow. NO U-TURNS. I eventually found a small place to "attempt" a U-turn and I got around to making it to Target. We parked and Dominick bought some snacks after saying he wouldn't make a mess in my dad;s SUV. Yeah, I don't allow eating, but I did allow him to do it last night because of the flight. Hmm. I bought an Aquafina and some weird... hybrid kiwi-watermelon water. Dominick bought his vitamin water, some of them Ritz cheese things, and two things of beef jerky. He wanted to pay... so like, wtf? I got the car started and like, yeah. We didn't know where to go next.
I continued down the road on like... 76 highway or something. I saw a cool painted rock that was like, an apple sliced into pieces. We eventually reached Perris. Yes, Perris. Dominick told me to take a photo of Perris Pawn[shop]. Heh. Okay, there was a junction entering the free way. One lead to Riverside, the other to San Diego. We were on our way to Riverside, but I told Dominick about the traffic and we quickly went toward San Diego down the 15-S freeway. We then drove all the way down. Dominick was snacking on junk and like... it was about 4:50PM. We saw Rainbow Valley! Why was this significant? On August 12 last year, we were lost while trying to watch the meteor showers and like, we came across Rainbow Valley. Heh heh. On the road, we passed Temecula and the exit toward Pachanga Casino. Heh, I wanted to go there but Dominick said no (or was it "another time?" Whatever). I also saw a Mervyn's! YEAH! MERVYN'S IS STILL ALIVE!!!1 Heh, it's probably the last one too.
So FINALLY after more than an hour of driving, we both were relieved to see the sign with the 5 freeway on it. Heh. Now, I got confused and accidentally changed out of the 5-N lanes and into the 5-S one. OOPS! It's cool though, because it was a good excuse to get gasoline. I exited and stopped at a Chevron. Dominick pitched in 20 bucks for gasoline and so I added 40 bucks to my tank. He bought himself a Cactus Cooler while I wiped my stirring wheel a little. We were on our way home down the 5-N and I took some shots of the scenery. They were blind shots and so I have no idea what they look like.
Heavy traffic. I almost hit the car in front of me because traffic actually stopped. I was probably only a few inches away from the car. Wow, was I scared out of my mind. Dominick didn't say it was my fault... which was weird because uh... really? Anyway, we eventually made it to Lake Forest. Woo! Dominick heard on the radio that there was a concert at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa. He was disappointed. Heh. But yeah, we parked in front of Regal Cinema and Dominick went ahead of me to check the times of Bruno. I wanted to eat before the movie, but when I saw the times... the next one would be starting at 9:30PM and that may be too late for Dominick since he needed to go to Ralphs by like... 11:30PM. It was 7:36PM and we decided to get in line for the 7:45PM show. He didn't seem too thrilled about it though, but yeah. We bought tickets; $10.50? We then entered theatre 22 and yeah. We sat down as the lights started to dim. We sat in front of some annoying girls. Like, I don't know about Dominick, but they were annoying during the previews with their fake laughs and their chatting. It's like, shut up! Luckily they did when the movie started.
After Bruno, we left the theatre at 9:20PM. On our way to Souplatation, Dominick pointed at Miguel's, saying that Bobby was the assistant manager of that restaurant. I got kinda annoyed about that because it sounded like he wanted to go there to chat with him and whatnot. He said that if Souplantation closes at 10PM, we'd be going to Miguel's. Well... it did and we ended up going to Miguels. He saw one of his French class buddies. He lead us to a table and yeah. I told Dominick not to bring Bobby up again. He ordered a Garbage Burrito while I got myself the first thing I saw: Pollo Asada Quesadilla. I didn't wanna screw up the whole day with my beef on Bobby, and so I kept my mouth shut. Dominick kept bugging me about it and like, after he came back from taking a piss, he continued to bug me about it and I told him why. We ended up talking a lot actually. I asked him how was his day and he said it was okay. We started to talk about the movie briefly and how I thought about it and then how his vacation wasn't all that's cracked up to be.
He didn't like alcohol. Uh... I'm disappointed. He tried some for the first time at Phoebe's Dad's party. Hmm. But anyway, he told me that Phoebe and Wayne would "kick him out" and he'd be wandering outside for a bit. He actually got caught in pouring rain and like... I was amazed. But yeah, after dinner, he wanted to go to Wal*Mart. He dubbed it as my, "arch-nemesis." Heh, NO. I didn't want to go there after that lady made a scene 2 years ago. I was their best customer too! SHEESH! But anyway, he said that I should call Phoebe and tell her to tell Wayne that tomorrow was 7-Eleven's free Slurpee Day. Heh... I kinda didn't feel like it.
Dominick said that he thought I'd forget Phoebe if we ever lost touch. I said I wouldn't, but he believed that I would after seeing how easily it was for me to hate on people I use to care about. I told him Phoebe was different and no matter what, I would NEVER let that happen. It was kind of a shock for him to say that. We started talking about relationships and I felt really really awkward. I've done some crap back then that I'm not proud of (would NEVER write it on here btw) and so I kinda got borderline depressed because my heart was starting to ache. We ended up staying at Miguel's to 11PM. They didn't kick us out or anything, but we were the only ones left. We walked to my dad's SUV and talked some more.
Dominick was interested in renting the room in my house. Cool. When we got to my dad's SUV, I showed him a flyer of the hotel I stayed in last year. He really liked it and I told him that I wanted him to come over on my barfday, but that never happened. We talked about relationships more and I ended up expanding something I told him back at Ruby's Diner on January 8th. I felt really weird... and felt like crap the rest of the night. Dominick wasn't going to work btw; he was jsut meeting at friend at Ralphs. I drove him there, telling him not to tell anyway... and that he was still my best friend. He left and I drove home. He left all his food in my dad's SUV, saying that I wouldn't waste it. Uh... thanks. But yeah, when I came inside at 11:40PM, my sister was home and I said hi as she walked down the stairs. I then felt really really uneasy and called Dominick's house to tell his mom to give me a call back when he got home. I took my shower, brushed my teeth, and sent a text message to Molly. I wanted to talk to her about something personal and private. Ugh... that's all I'm gonna say. Tomorrow I'm gonna stay home and do nothing. I don't feel good to do anything.
Today was cool... but the night still bothers me.

Heh, last night after submitting that Camp Lazlo drawing on DeviantART, I noticed that I put the left hand on the right arm and vice versa. Oh wow... HAHAHAHA! I didn't bother fixing it. Don't remember my dream... and woke up at like, what... 9AM? I don't remember. In fact, I don't remember a lot of things that happened today (at least, at what times). But anyway, I replied to Tiff's note on DeviantART and like... read her blog entry about going to a mall. I chilled on my laptop for a while and like, eventually went to the gym. I went on the bike and the cardio machine and came home at like, 12:30PM. I then ate a bunch of Total cereal and watched an episode of The Sopranos on On Demand while surfing the interweb. I then watched Sabrina and like... watched the new episodes of Degrassi on The-N dot com. Why? Because On Demand didn't have the new episodes that premiered last week (and it's been a long wait for them new episodes) and so I watched them online. I then realized that maybe it was because the episode was about sexual abuse and that's why it wasn't on On Demand. Maybe... but I doubt it. The 2-part episode was nice though. New paragraph.
Sometime during the first half of The King of Queens, I rinsed my dad's SUV. I prepared a bucket and filled it with water. I'll be finishing the job when the day wasn't so hot. I ate toast and some frozen turkey patties and some more Total cereal. After The King of Queens, I wiped my car outside and finished in 30 minutes. Yeah, it wasn't like last time 4 weeks ago when I had to spent a ton of time cleaning it. It was probably because 4 weeks ago, it was really really REALLY bad. But anyway, I decided to watch another episode of The Sopranos and like, an episode of The King of Queens after. I did some googling online to see where Dominick's flight will be at. I found a very cool site that list the arrival times. Dominick's flight was probably Continental Airlines Flight CO507 from Cleveland, scheduled to arrive at 10:48PM with an "actual" expected arrival time of 10:45PM. Pretty snazzy. I'm expecting him at 11PM though... so it all works out. Heh heh. I looked up LAX on Wikipedia and learned that he will be arriving at Terminal 6. Excellent!
Some lady rang the doorbell. Her name was Jackie and she was advertising the dry cleaners near the AmPm. She gave me a coupon because maybe my mom would be interested and so yeah. I remember getting a coupon from the same place a year or two ago. When I posted it on the refrigerator... there was the old one! It was the same exact discount coupon too! HAHAHAHA! But yeah, the old one was from Norma and now this one is from Jackie. Heh heh. After watching The Sopranos until 7:50PM, I rinsed myself off in the shower and like, will be jotting down some directions to LAX just in case. I'll be jotting down some more information, such as Dominick's terminal and whatnot. So yeah. I'll be writing about LAX in tomorrow's entry... or maybe, when I come back by past midnight, I'll edit this entry. We'll see. But yeah, I need to get ready. Tomorrow I'm spending the day with Dominick.
Today was so-so.

HAPPY CAMP LAZLO DAY!!!!11 It's been 4 years... but like, the series ended. OH WELL.
Don't remember my dreammmmm. Woke up at 9:30AM and stayed in bed for a while. I went online and surfed a bit after reading Tiff's blog about her trip to the Pokémon Center and how they've got Pokémon Gold and Silver DS there. Omg, why are they remaking old games? STOP? Anyway, I watched an episode of The Sopranos before getting dressed into my uniform for work. I then had some raspeberry yoghurt and left my house at 12:33PM. When I arrived at Joann Fabrics, Ola said that I was late. WHAT? NOOO? She said I was scheduled for 12:30PM and I said that I checked and I was scheduled for 1PM! Heh heh. She was about to call me too... so yeah. Wow. They needed help up front and so I went to my locker and put my stuff away. I looked for my apron and someone stole it and put my name tag on a dirty one. Wow... thanks? I had to put my name tag into the apron holes (which was how Iimmediately knew someone stole my apron--they took my tag off and didn't put it where it's suppose to be) and then went and got my walkie-talkie. Mary and Ola where there and were telling me how late I was. Mary double-checked and I was right! HAHAHAHA! Heather ended up leaving an hour early... so that's what screwed us all up. I went to my cash register and helped out Sandra after punching in at 12:51PM. Yeah, I wasn't late--I was EARLY.
Leanna sent me a text message saying she would come visit me when I was putting my junk in my locker... so I was on the look out for her as I was helping a bunch of people today. So Ola went to lunch and came back to tell me that she needed to go over my file. Oh okay. Anyway, I got a lot of people to sign up to be on our mailing list! WAHOO! I rock! But yeah, during my so-called "down time" I read the training manual to refresh my memory. Ola came and told me to guard my file with my life. Heh okay. But yeah, after helping a ton of people and the line was practically empty, Ola opened up the folder and talked to me, asking to check all the boxes of cashier abilities I knew how to do. Those left unchecked, she went over after people finished being helped. But yeah... most of the training happened after my break though.
Fast fowarding, I went on break at 3:20PM and went into the break room to sit and respond to Leanna's text message that I'd be up front at 3:35PM. She was at Michaels thinking I was there. HAHAHAHA! But yeah, Stephen came in with In-N-Out and told me that I don't have training with him this week and that I might be able to be a framer soon! WOOOO! Mary came in and talked to us for a bit, saying that in 2 weeks... I'll have hours in the framing department! WOOOO! Corrine, the other cashier who's name I will now forever remember, came into the break room. I left to use the restroom and as soon as I was done, I arrived at my cash register at 3:36PM, just as Leanna was coming in to visit! OH HEY! She said that she liked my hair long and so yeah. Ola then came over and I asked her about this paper a guest had that had 40% stuff on it. Apparently that was only for online junk and that it was garbage and she ripped it up. I told Ola that Leanna was a friend of mine who supported me to getting a job here. Heh heh. Leanna had to go and told me that she'll be in Foothill this whole month so we could hang out and whatnot. Oh cool! We could hang out with Lindsey H then! LEanna left and I said bye.
Ola went over what needed to be gone over and even let me learn how to do returns. She talked to me about tax exempt stuff and then when I was helping a guest, oh hey! She got a tax exempt card and Corrine helped me out. Ola then came along and recognized the guest and yeah. We had a swell time learning how to work the tax exemptness! But anyway, as we went down the list of things, I got this one guest whom I had just finished ringing up, only to discover that one of the items she purchase was damaged and that we had to do a return for. Hmm... Ola helped me along the way and it was a long long transaction, but it was cool because our guest didn't mind waiting. Heh heh. But yeah, after that... I followed Ola to the cutting counter.
She went over the last of the cashier stuff, only to realize that there was a whole 'nother page of things to go over. She got over it and said that it was too much to learn in one day. Anyway, I had a LOCK DOWN TEST!!!!!1 It sounded hard, but it was actually another short training session. I needed to learn how to cut fabric. We learned how to do this on our training day (was it our third day?) and so like... it wasn't too hard... but yeah, there was a specific way of handling the fabric before cutting it and like... I had to practice. It didn't take too long though, because the training took about 20 minutes since like... ringing up remnant fabrics at the cash register was like making yellow cut slips there. Cool. But anyway, yeah... it was almost time for me to go and so at 4:45PM, I helped people at the front for a bit and then tried putting some "go backs" to their rightful places. I ended up putting some special order fabrics away and some lady asked me if I knew where the outdoor fabrics where. I called for help and told me to direct her to the cutting counter. And so I did and she got help. Excellent! When I arrived at my cash regsiter to punch out, I said hi to Dana, who was gonna take over the night shift I suppose. Cool.
I followed Ola to the office to let Dana get a walkie-talkie... and let me return my walkie-talkie. I signed out and Ola said that I was totally not late. Heh heh. I went to the break room and Corrine was talking to some chick I don't know and Stephen. I told them about how someone jacked my apron and how it was all dirty now (which I suppose was why they jacked mine--so they didn't have to wash their apron and I so I did). Heh. But yeah, I told Stephen I'd see him next week and checked my schedule. I then went home and arrived at 5:10PM. I left the tube on Everybody Loves Raymond while I prepared my laptop for my drawing for Camp Lazlo Day. I heated up some Santa Fe Progresso soup while watching The Sopranos on On Demand. After that, I started drawing on my laptop during The King of Queens. After that, I watched another episode of The Sopranos before calling Phoebe at 8PM. I got her answering machine and like... left a short "call me back, please" message before watching another episode of The Sopranos. I submitted my deviation and got almost immediate comments and whatnot. Wow... how shocking -_-.
At 9PM, my mom came home and like... I was preparing to go watch Top Chef Masters in my parents' room. My mom brought me some hot chicken Subway... and I actually thanked her (I kinda had to think about saying thank you too since we were still kinda... not close). I asked my mom if I could eat in [my parents'] room and she said yes. I ate half of my sandwich downstairs and then went upstairs to watch Top Chef Masters. On Twitter, Sailor Ember Phantom tweeted that my fangirl's new deviation was totally Camp Lazlo inspired with like... the same exact bean scout uniform and the same warm color scheme, cabin, yellow sky, and PA system as Camp Kidney from Camp Lazlo. It's like... how could she NOT know what Camp Lazlo is when she blatantly ripped off everything about Camp Lazlo into her drawing? Like... I've got evidence to prove she knows about the show, so like... stop pretending you aren't familiar with it! If you wanna play dumb, at least be GOOD AT IT! I replied to Sailor Ember Phantom's tweet about it.
Dominick called me back and I spoke to him for a bit. He was gonna pack tonight and left on a plane back to California at 3PM EST. He had watched a movie with Phoebe earlier today and so yeah. I was still picking him up tomorrow night at 11PM and like, he told me to find Continental Airlines from Cleveland in the arrivals place. Okay. I chatted a little with him and like, wanted to talk to Phoebe but she was a little busy. Whatever. Dominick wouldn't be able to talk to me until tomorrow night since Phoebe won't be chilling at the airport with him. Bummer. But yeah, I said bye and watched Top Chef Masters episode. That's pretty much it. Tomorrow I'm gonna wash my dad's SUV, go to the gym, and pick up Dominick at LAX.
Today was fine.

Dream last night was about me getting a short list of German words used in the movie, Bruno, with English translations. It also had a bit of a Super Mario World feeling to it... like there was a tournament going on. I don't remember that part of my dream, but yeah. I woke up at like... 5:45AM because I learned last night that the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana wasn't too far away. I went downstairs and poured myself some Kellogg's Chocolatey Delight cereal and then got dressed all nicely and did my hair. I left the house at like, 6:42AM and listened to the Kevin & Bean Show, talking about how today was the memorial service for Michael Jackson. Oh yeah, he's been dead for a week already. Hmm. Anyway, I followed the driving directions I wrote done from the lady I was on the phone with last week and like... found it. I saw a bunch of people walking with their summons in their hand. I parked in the 2nd level of the stadium parking garage and followed the crowd with my laptop backpack and my summons.
I entered the Central Justice Center and was kinda... excited actually. I felt kinda happy that I was appearing. They had airport security there and so I had to put junk in a box and put that and my backpack into an X-ray machine. I followed people to the second floor and entered the Juror Assembly Room. Iwas instructed to grab a badge holder and a brochure about Jury Duty service. This lady told everyone to remove the badge from our summons and turn in our summons to window number 1. I did that and quickly went to the computer desk next to the window. Luckily I was early enough to grab a table before more peopel came in. A lot of people came today... and came late actually. I arrived at like, 7:18AM and like, they were still checking in people well after 7:45AM. I tried to access the free wireless interweb they got going on, but didn't have the passcode. I, instead, tidied up my desktop by moving all the misc junk into one folder to clear some space. I then worked on an old journal entry I haven't finished writing yet about my first day at Jay's house.
So this man asked the guy at the desk right in front of me for a copy of the passcode. The guy handed the man a piece of paper with the code on it and I was all like, "whoa, I need that too!" and so after the man was done copying stuff, he handed it to me and I copied down the code: OCJ[four six nine one four] (I didn't want to actually type the numbers in case someone googles it and like... I get in trouble for it--I doubt it though) and handed the paper back to the guy in front of me. So I tried logging in and like... it didn't work and so I continued to write that journal entry about Jay's house.
So orientation started at 8:19AM. It was a powerpoint and was sorta like a verbal version of the brochure we all had. The lady spoke and whatnot and then paused for a bit to let Judge Monroe talk. He read some letters about some previous jurors' testimonials on Jury Duty service. I laughed when he read one about someone loving Jury Duty soooo much that s/he told all his/her friends to do it. Wow, what BS! But yeah, Judge Monroe was a funny guy. He actually read a bad letter about how this guy was mad because the case was more of a personal level and not about the evidence. He also wanted to get Judge Monroe fired. Heh heh. But yeah, he also told us a joke about God asking this one dude awaiting Judgment why he was the only one standing in the line of people who aren't told what to do or something (the punchline was something about "my wife told me to stand here"). After Judge Monroe left, the lady continued to do the powerpoint and like... then we took the Juror's Oath and all had to stand with our right hand held up. We were done with orientation.
During the orientation, however, I got a phone call from an 877 number and like... listened to the voice message. It was a recording of someone singing. Wtf? Weird. Anyway, almost immediately after orientation, there was an announcement being made and all the people whom had just left into the cafeteria had to come back to the assembly room. Apparently they needed volunteers to do a 23-day trail. How ridiculous! Surprisingly, a lot of people went in line. Anyway, I tried to connect to the interweb but it still wasn't working. Hmm. Anyway, they started calling out names and I was relieved that my name wasn't called. Excellent. I continued to type and pretty much finished all I could without access to the interweb. I then decided to restart my computer before complaining. After restarting, I got it to work! Awesome!
At 10:06AM, I sent Tiff a response to her note about how she got stuff at the Pokémon Center... but not my Corphish because they really didn't have much of a selection on pokémon that weren't very popular. How... disappointing. I told her I would be googling ways to get rid of Jury Duty until I was called. But yeah... it felt like the Holocaust or something and if my name was called... I'd be a prisoner. Hmm. But yeah. I described the place like an airport with the tons of chairs for people to sit and junk... but less "fun." It was much smaller than an airport too, so yeah. Whatever. We were released on break and so I went out to the patio (which happens to be the place where people could go and smoke) and called Joann Fabrics. Julie and Ola weren't there and so I asked to speak to Mary. Mary was too busy and so I spoke to Joe who told me that there was no way to get out of Jury Duty. He said that he hates cops and hates Jury service and that he was kept for 3 days and was kicked out by day 3. He said that I might have to call in tomorrow... but like, I don't wanna do Jury Duty anymore. UGH! I hang up and went back to my laptop to try to find the solution on the interweb.
I educated myself by learning a few ways to get out of Jury service when called. The most effective way, I've learned, was to talk about Jury Nullification during the screening... which is a legal thing that the court people don't want Jurors to know about. It's pretty much the ability to say the defendant is not guilty because the law isn't constitutional or just. This gives jurors veto powahs, since we coudl say we don't agree with the law... and therefore the defendant is not guilty. That seemed pretty cool. Other ways to get out was to be associated with a lawyer or a cop and be informed about how the law works and junk. Another one was to show how dumb you really are, be racist, emphasize how much you don't wanna be there, or say something about how you are being held against your will in this mandatory "civic duty." There were a lot of creative stuff and like, I read them all. I also went up to the windows at the other side of the room to validate my parking pass. It was a stamp and I got the number 32 stamped on my pass. Cool.
At around 11:45AM, there was an announcement saying we might not be staying the whole duration and might be let out before 5PM. A few people, including myself, cheered! Anyway, we were dismissed to lunch until 1:15PM. My name hadn't been called and I was still kinda worried. The guy on the computer desk in front of me was called and like... he left a while ago. I left the building and went into the courtyard(?) and called Phoebe to try to reach Dominick. I left a message about how Jury Duty sucked and how I wanted to talk to Dominick to see if he knew enough government crap to get me out of Jury Duty. I then returned to my laptop and occasionally checked to see if the line at the cafeteria had died down yet. It wasn't until like... 12:47PM when I fell into the burger line and got myself a delicious Mushroom Swiss burger with French fries. I was tempted to get myself some coffee, but got hot chocolate instead. The guy in front of me was gonna use his business credit card in the line I was in, but when the other line clear up, he abdicated and went to that line. He left his card on the counter and like, I pointed to it when he was looking for it. Heh heh. I paid for my food using the leftover money I used to by groceries with last night. The lady said that it was $8.18 and when I gave her my 10 dollar bill... I only got coins back. The real cost of my food was $9.18 and so she gave me the correct change... but read the register wrong. OH WELL. I went back to my table and munched, yo.
So there was an announcement at 1:29PM when lunch ended (which was 14 minutes late, but I ain't complaining). We learned that the courts don't need any jurors at this time and will tell us by 2:30PM if we could go home early or not. Cool. So I kept reading the tips to getting out of Jury Duty (read over 100 different scenarios and excuses... totally serious) and noticed that the channel on the television screens at the other side of the room was ABC Family and Sabrina came on at 2PM! Oh awesome! I didn't miss it! But yeah, by 2:49PM, we were let go! I cheered! We all cheered! We were done, thanks to the One Day, One Trial thing! So all we had to return our badge holders and pick up a certificate of completion at window 1. I walked with a group of people to the parking garage and continued to follow them up the stairs, only to realize that I parked in floor 2. MY BAD! I eventually got out of the parking garage and followed my driving directions in reverse... only to recognize a dentish building near the Bowers Museum and know exactly where I was. I still continued following the directions in reverse though, since I missed my "left turn." It's cool though, because I got home at 3:36PM! Excellent!
I decided to cash in my Joann Fabrics check and so I changed my clothes and drove to the US Bank in Lake Forest. It's still Downey Savings at heart... but yeah. I went inside and endorsed my check. Some kid, probably 11 years old, was all staring at me for some reason. Yeah... stop? I cashed in my check and got my $46.80! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!11 I then drove home just in time for The King of Queens at 4:01PM. I ate the rest of my Kellogg's Chocolatey Delight cereal and like... made myself some wheat toast too. I then tried drawing a Camp Lazlo drawing for tomorrow's Camp Lazlo Day obligation to CLF and like... realized that my cartoon gestures have become... long and skinny. It's not the style I developed last summer... and I don't know if I'm willing to accept the change. Regardless, I completed my idea on paper and will be transferring it onto my laptop when I felt like it. I tried to take a nap on the floor during Everybody Loves Raymond, but was having a difficult time doing so. I made more wheat toast during The King of Queens and my mom came in. I got dressed and drove to Irvine, FINALLY getting my nice parking space in the corner.
I had bad hair, but whatever. I left after the service and arrived home by 8:45PM. I then went on my laptop and like... got a note from this kid who likes my art but types almost as annoyingly as Almario (except he's got a excuse to type like an idiot; he's like... 15 or something, but still). That same guy would comment on my front page a lot and the comment he made last night was weird. He was saying that "something" about me was driving him crazy and it was because he was jealous of my artwork. Wtf? He then said that he wouldn't mind it if I hated him because he's got a lot of haters and asked me if I understood. WTF!? Anyway, the note was about him saying the same thing and how he thinks I'm just this SUPER AWESOME ARTIST when really I'm just a student who isn't really all that good AND hasn't been having fun drawing lately because of last semester. I told him practice makes perfect, there are many other artists out there better than me, and that he shouldn't be jealous. Sheesh... this guy is really annoying. I don't want fans! I DON'T WANT FANSSSSSSSSSS!!!!1 Tomorrow I'm gonna go to work at 1PM to 5PM and give Phoebe a call that night.
Today was boring.

My first dream was like... about me trying to find my way home in some city on foot. Like, the sun was going down and I was sooooo lost and needed to get out of the city before it was cold and junk. My next dream was about me like.... watching the tube with my sister (younger) and my dad and like... we were collecting something similar to the coca-cola glasses from McDonalds. They weren't the glasses though... but were some other collectors thing. Anyway, my dad gave me money to buy some more happy meals and so I went to try to get some more before McDonalds closed late at night. So I was in line and got one and like... was lost. Wtf? There were some festival events happening on the side streets and like, I decided to check out the spooky haunted mave. It was pretty empty since like... it was late and so yeah. I got to see the spookiness and whatnot, and then found a secret room with some wanderers in it. We were gathered into a virtual room where like, we got to see how the Romans teamed up with the Egyptians in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea to construct buildings out of stone in like... 24 hours. We got to see Poseidon and he was like.... super huge compared to the workers.
So I woke up at 11:26AM. I called Phoebe but she didn't pick up and so I left a message. My nose hurt... as if I was punched there. I guess I slept wrong. I went online on my laptop and read Tiff's note saying she'll be sending Sanna something else in the mail. I thinkk Sanna actually reads my journal entries and so I don't wanna reveal the surprise prematurely. But anyway, I watched some videos and went downstairs for some food. I ate the rest of the Fiber One cereal and like... called the Fraud Center to see the status of my claim since Alana didn't call me this morning. This lady named Misty picked up and like... I told her about my claim and she sounded surprised that they only received one letter when two of them were in the same envelope. It's like... she understood why I kept calling! She told me that she just contacted Alana and that my reports from February, March, and half of April will be not be credited to my account since it wasn't within the 60-days from when the claim was made. Oh well. After that, I went upstairs and called the Jury Duty number and spoke to some lady to ask some last minute questions. Apparently lunch isn't free and I cannot bring my digital camera there. Bummer. Oh well. I thanked her and went on the interweb under 2PM.
I watched Sabrina while making hazelnut chocolate mouse. It was pretty good and like... yeah. After Sabrina, I decided to go on the interweb some more. What else... I stayed online for a while and like... at around 4PM or something, I decided to go on Furcadia to make fun of people. Yeah, I was THAT bored. So I was in Furcadia and met up with some dude who was trying to pick up female animal chicks. I wanted to prank him, only to realize he was a pretty cool guy. Darn it! Don't you hate it when you befriend people you wanna make fun of? Anyway, I was banned off some Pirate RP Dream because I wasn't talking like a pirate and roleplaying right. Wow. Oh well. The chick that got me banned was an idiot anyway. I ended up sending her messages, calling her names and blocking her. I got my trolling done after all. Heh heh.
I got a call from Mr. June. He wasn't to come over before 8PM and so I said yes. He told me he'd call before he arrived and he didn't... so that was annoying. Whatever. We talked a bit and he left me a magazine. He left and like, at 8:30PM, I told that guy on Furcadia that I was gonna go. I left for Ralphs with the 60 bucks my mom left for me to buy groceries. What else... I stopped by Pizza Hut because I wanted to try the 5-dollar P-Zone. I ordered one and went to Ralphs to buy some stuff. My mom wanted me to buy plates, food, and water. So I did. Heh. I returned to Pizza Hut by 8:57PM and got my P-Zone. I came home and ate it... and like, it wasn't as satisfying as I thought. Hmm... I guess it's because it was fast food. I watched George Lopez and like, Dominick called me at around 9:40PM. He was on his way to 7-Eleven while Phoebe and Wayne (not Blaine) had some alone time. He felt left out. Aww. But yeah, I learned he only had one bag and so I don't have to circle around LAX for hours. Excellent! I told him that I'll try calling him on Wednesday night... so yeah. We hung up and I watched some Roseanne while writing this journal entry. Phoebe called me and I told her how I wanted to whine to her about Jury Duty, but decided not to. I then told her a few jokes and the hospital pun I came up with for Sailor Ember Phantom's hospital comic. Heh heh. We hung up and yeah, that's all. Tomorrow I've got Jury Duty at the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana at 7:45AM. Crikey... I better come up with some good drawing ideas while I'm there.
Today was alright.
